Last weekend me and Rai visited the great Victorian Christmas Market in Hamburg.
It was located in the halls of an Art Nouveau hotel and at the entry was arranged this typical english telephone box. I loved these boxes since my first visit in England.
Thanks to Neko for this picture^^.
Inside the Christmas market extended to three halls and had lots of stands with several handmade things, vintage tools and british food.
These hand clips remind me a bit of the lead of Monty Python 😀
…and these water-levels could also be found in 221b Baker Street or Downton Abbey, I think. It was great to see them.
I also liked the fact that so many people were dressed in victorian or edwardian inspired clothes and a lot of them were handmade. This lovely Lady looks so elegant!
To my joy there were also offered plenty of British christmas sweets. Of course I couln´t resist to buy some 😉
More pretty, vintage implements.
There was also a stand of a cake designer. These cakes look amazing (but I think it would be nearly a pity to cut these artworks for eating).
Very nice choirs were singing traditional christmas songs and songs from “Mary Poppins”.
You could also buy several ingredients for british meals.
And also cute presents for children 😀
The interior of the hotel was so pretty. It was a perfect location for an event like this.
I tried a Christmas inspired outfit.
Rai looked pretty as always.
All rooms were decorated so neat and the whole atmosphere was so nice and relaxed.
And these are the treasures I brought home. It´s beginning to look a lot like yummy Christmas 😉
We really enjoyed the Victorian Christmas Market and will definately come back next year.
