The historical Town Hall Christmas Market

23 Dec

Last week I had a little reunion with my dear friend Sandy and her friend Rici. I hadn´t seen both for a longer time and all of us absolutely wanted to go to the beutifull historical christmas market at the town hall square in Hamburg.

The delightfull entrance with a traditional mistletoe <3.

The market is always divided in several themed lanes. Here´s the Sweets Lane.

Tasty christmas food.

The Toy Lane.

This booth is always my favourite at the historical market. It sells gorgeous, vintage looking paper articles like jumping jacks or puzzles.

Around the Toy Lane was a cute railway driving.

The Craft Lane.

All booths were adorned so nice.

Pretty, old storm lamps.

The town hall of Hamburg. Especially this one of our christmas markets is (understandably) very popular by foreign tourists.

After a walk over the market with delicious sweet and salty food and hot punch, we couldn´t resist to go to the Levantehaus to take some pictures.

Sweet Sandy with the cuddly bear from the Steiff Shop and me on the great stairs (my cookie bag fits good to christmas time, I think).

And of course we didn´t want to miss the huge tree (the nice, brunette girl is Rici). It´s such a wonderfull backdrop.

Hopefully I´ll get a time machine for christmas. Would be a wise present 😉
